Within TU Delft we facilitate excellent teaching, and we need good educational spaces to support this. The majority of the education rooms in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences are outdated, with regard to the technology and AV resources as well as the furniture and general ambience. Most of the education rooms are part of the campus-wide education spaces (the ‘zalenpoule’). Many of the faculty’s education rooms (lecture rooms, instruction and computer rooms) are being modernised and refurbished so that they will once again meet modern requirements and the standards of the TU Delft Cookbook.
Capacity and quality
The rooms will be allocated more efficiently, increasing the total capacity in the rooms. In addition to new furniture, AV resources will also be considerably improved. Wall and floor coverings will be renewed and where necessary the acoustics will be improved.
