The department of Aerospace Structures and Materials at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering is growing. TU Delft has therefore decided to expand the existing chemistry and physics labs. Both are housed in the Aeroplane Hall. The project consists of moving the current offices to make room for the yet to be constructed physics lab. This will simultaneously solve some of the unused office issues. The studying and work spaces for students will be moved to an empty part of the building. The chemistry lab will expand at the location of the existing physics lab.
