Campus development

TU Delft is one of the world’s top universities. It is renowned for its ground-breaking research, excellent education and innovative cooperation with external partners. This requires facilities and buildings that support this in a challenging, inspirational environment. This is why we are renewing the campus with a focus on sustainability and the improved utilisation of the existing spaces. The investments target the quality of spaces for new forms of education and research. Furthermore, TU Delft will divest itself of (some of) the buildings and reduce the total number of square metres required. This will help reduce costs leaving more money for research and education. TU Delft’s campus will become a green, landscaped environment that provides a pleasant studying, working or recreational environment.

More about campus vision

TU Delft builds, converts and renovates. The objective is to keep the campus liveable and safe as well as to be properly prepared for the future. With top facilities for education and groundbreaking research whilst paying attention to sustainability, accessibility and liveability. All the projects detail TU Delft’s campus vision.
