TU Delft 2015

Rehousing the heritage collection

TU Delft’s heritage collection was housed at the building at Rotterdamseweg 145 that recently was demolished. It consists of valuable items such as historic paintings, designs, scientific models and equipment and even exceptional furniture.

The collection was moved to the book and magazine repository and the library’s former bicycle parking facility. These spaces were converted to be able to store TU Delft’s heritage collection securely, protecting it from theft.
